Meet Chiff

Chiff is the first of a dozen or so magical creatures that will appear in Broadway Kidz this year. Here he is modeled by my twins Andrew and Avery who can't decide if he is scary or cute. Mission accomplished. Some of you might recognize the mouth as the puppet I had some of you use at auditions. Big change, huh?

When he is finished, he will be a puppet similar to Timon in The Lion King with the feet controlled by the puppeteer's feet, the head and one arm controlled by the puppeteer's hands.

His name is Chiff which is short for Mischeif. He is the best friend of the second oldest child who is struggling with peer pressure. He is hairy and awkward just like most adolescent boys. But, will he grow out of it?
